Cheezan and Richer sign with Huntington

  Wauseon Seniors Michael Cheezan and Hannah Richer recently signed their letters of intent to continue their cross country and track careers at Huntington University.  Huntington is an NAIA school in Huntington, Indiana.  Michael is planning on studying computer science while Hannah will study either occupational therapy or special education.  Congratulations!

Junior High Boys Track wins the Tomahawk Invitational

The Junior High Boys Track team won the title at the Tomahawk Track & Field Invitational on Saturday, April 5 on their home track.  The team outdistanced 8 other schools for the title with 142 points followed by runner-up Archbold with 114. Kyle Vernot and Josh Lowry place at State Track

Wauseon Senior Kyle Vernot finished his Wauseon running career with a 5th place finish in the 1600 meter run at the State track meet in Columbus.  Kyle’s time of 4:20.83 was the 3rd fastest in school history.  His teammate, Junior Josh Lowry, also placed earning a 7th place medal in the 3200 meter run.  His time of
