Cheezan and Richer sign with Huntington

  Wauseon Seniors Michael Cheezan and Hannah Richer recently signed their letters of intent to continue their cross country and track careers at Huntington University.  Huntington is an NAIA school in Huntington, Indiana.  Michael is planning on studying computer science while Hannah will study either occupational therapy or special education.  Congratulations!

Cross Country sends two to State

The cross country team will have two participants for this weekend’s State Cross Country meet at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.  Senior Michael Cheezan and Freshman Maggie Duden will represent the Indians on Saturday, November 3.   ** UPDATE – The State Cross Country meet has been postponed due to flooding on the course.

Cross Country takes home trophies in every race at the Fulton County Invitational

The Wauseon cross country teams had a great day at the Fulton County Invitational on Saturday, September 29.  Winning Championship trophies were the High School boys, Junior High boys, and Junior High girls teams while the HS girls team won the Runner-up trophy.  Additionally, Wauseon had 3 individual champions.  Michael Cheezan (16:44) won the HS

NWOAL Cross Country Championships – Results

Wauseon Rotary to open Indian Hills Trails at the Fulton County Cross Country Invitational

Tuesday, September 26, Wauseon High School will host the inaugural Fulton County Cross Country Invitational at Homecoming Park.  A portion of the cross country course will utilize the recently developed Indian Hills Trails.  Indian Hills Trails is one of the latest community projects from the Wauseon Rotary.  Their time, efforts, and financial contributions have made
