Basketball Cheerleaders win the Varsity Academic Cup

The Basketball Cheerleaders have won the Varsity Academic Cup for the 2018-19 school year.  The varsity basketball cheerleaders posted an in-season average GPA of 3.7183.  All 9 varsity cheer letter winners achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher while 5 of the 9 achieved a 4.0 GPA.  The girls tennis team finished 2nd with an average of 3.6564

Girls sports share the NWOAL All-Sports Championship

The Wauseon girls sports teams have claimed a share of the NWOAL All-Sports Championship for the 2018-19 school year.  The team tied with Archbold with 39.5 points from 7 league sponsored sports to be at the top of the standings.  The programs were led by the NWOAL Championships in Volleyball and Softball.  This is the

Cheezan and Richer sign with Huntington

  Wauseon Seniors Michael Cheezan and Hannah Richer recently signed their letters of intent to continue their cross country and track careers at Huntington University.  Huntington is an NAIA school in Huntington, Indiana.  Michael is planning on studying computer science while Hannah will study either occupational therapy or special education.  Congratulations!

Cross Country sends two to State

The cross country team will have two participants for this weekend’s State Cross Country meet at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.  Senior Michael Cheezan and Freshman Maggie Duden will represent the Indians on Saturday, November 3.   ** UPDATE – The State Cross Country meet has been postponed due to flooding on the course.
