NWOAL Fall Scholar Athletes announced

Congratulations to the 16 fall sport senior athletes who earned NWOAL Scholar Athlete honors.  Criteria for the award is the athlete must 1) be a senior, 2) earned a varsity letter, and 3) have a minimum 3.5 accumulative GPA after six semesters.  Award winners include:   Samantha Aeschliman – Tennis Kelcy Blanchong – Volleyball Megan

Fall Athletes earn All-District Honors

Several Wauseon fall sports athletes earned All-District honors in their respective sports as selected by either members of the media or coaches (depending on the sport).  The list of All-District winners include:   BOYS GOLF (as voted by the coaches) Dylan Grahn ’21 – Honorable Mention; Andy Scherer ’20 – Honorable Mention   GIRLS GOLF

All-NWOAL Volleyball

5 members of the volleyball team earned All-NWOAL honors for the 2019 season.  Highlighting the list is Kelcy Blanchong ’20, as she was named to the 1st team!  Earning 2nd team honors was Sydney Zirkle ’20.  Marisa Seiler ’22 and Chelsie Raabe ’21 were also selected as Honorable Mention players.  Congratulations!

NWOAL Volleyball Tournament brackets announced

The NWOAL Volleyball Tournament brackets have been set.  The one-day Freshman tournament will be held Saturday, October 12 @ Archbold High School.  The Junior High tournaments begin Saturday October 12 with quarterfinal and semifinal matches.  The 8th Grade tournament will be held @ Evergreen Middle School while the 7th Grade tournament will take place @

2019 OHSAA Volleyball Tournament Information

The volleyball team will travel to Swanton High School to face the Bulldogs in the Sectional Semifinal round of the OHSAA D-III Volleyball Tournament.  The game will take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 5:30 pm. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students. BRACKET
