Sandro Ramirez – 4-time NWOAL Wrestling Champion

On Saturday, Sandro Ramirez became the 3rd wrestler in Wauseon High School history to become a 4-time NWOAL Champion.  Sandro recorded a 16-6 major decision over Chase Moore from Swanton to win this year’s 152 pound championship.  He joins Wade Hodges and Tony Banister as 4-time NWOAL Champions.

Sunday, February 11, 2018 the Wauseon Indian wrestling team claimed the OHSAA Division II Team Duals State Championship by defeating Lake Catholic, 48-12 at St. John Arena on the campus of the Ohio State University.  The win capped off an exciting day of wrestling as Wauseon defeated Miami Trace in the quarterfinals, 72-3, and then
