WHS Fall Sports Scholar-Athletes

Congratulations to the 67 Wauseon High School athletes who earned WHS Scholar-Athlete honors during this fall sports season.  In order to win the award, an athlete must earn a varsity letter and have a minimum 3.5 accumulative GPA.  This represents over 60% of our fall letter winners.  Well done!   Fall-2017-award-winners

Boys Cross Country is the D-II District Runner-up

Congratulations to the boys cross country team on winning the D-II District Runner-up trophy.  The team was led by Kyle Vernot who won the individual championship in a time of 16:20.2.  Teammate Josh Lowry placed 2nd running in 16:36.1.  Rounding out the Wauseon placers was Michael Cheezan (9th), Braden Vernot (23rd), Layton Willson (51st), Ryan

NWOAL Cross Country Championships – Results

Wauseon Rotary to open Indian Hills Trails at the Fulton County Cross Country Invitational

Cross Country to compete at Saturday Night Lights in Centerville – Sept. 23

The high school boys and girls cross country teams will travel to Centerville on Saturday, September 23 to compete in the Saturday Night Lights Cross Country Invitational held at Centerville High School.  The girls team will run at 8:20 pm in the girls’ Varsity A race while the boys will run at 9:45 pm in

Boys Cross Country finishes as the O-G Invite Runner-up

The boys cross country team finished 2nd at the Ottawa-Glandorf Blue/Gold Invitational on Saturday, September 16.  Kyle Vernot was in the individual champion while Michael Cheezan and Josh Lowry finished 3rd and 4th.  Braden Vernot also placed in the top 25 with a 19th place finish. FULL RESULTS
