All-NWOAL Volleyball

5 members of the volleyball team earned All-NWOAL honors for the 2020 season.  Highlighting the list is Chelsie Raabe ’21, as she was named to the 1st team!  Earning 2nd team honors was Marisa Seiler ’22.  Autumn Pelok ’22, Cameron Estep ’22 and Aaliyah Glover ’22 were also selected as Honorable Mention players.  Congratulations!

Class of 2024 Football Team Remains Undefeated

The Freshman football team completed the 2020 season undefeated with a 7-0 record.  This team has yet to lose a football game since they began playing as 7th graders.  Last year this group finished 7-0 as 8th graders after finishing 8-0 their 7th grade season in 2018.  Over the three year span they are 22-0.  During

All-NWOAL Girls Cross Country

4 members of the girls cross country team earned All-NWOAL awards for the 2020 season at the league meet at Delta.  Highlighting the list are Serena Mathews ’22 and Grace Rhoades ’23, as they earned 1st team honors!  Earning 2nd team honors were Maggie Duden ’22 and Tasha Miller ’21.  The team finished as the NWOAL Runner-up behind a strong Liberty Center team.  Congratulations!

All-NWOAL Boys Cross Country

As the boys cross country team cruised to an NWOAL team championship, 5 members of the team earned All-NWOAL for the 2020 season at the league meet at Delta.  Highlighting the list is Braden Vernot ’21, as he repeated as the NWOAL Champion with a winning time of 16:01!  Joining Braden on the 1st team is Jack Callan

All-NWOAL Boys Soccer

7 members of the boys soccer team earned All-NWOAL honors for the 2020 season.  Highlighting the list are Easton Delgado ’21 and Benicio Torres ’24 as they were named to the 1st team!  Earning 2nd team honors were Eli Delgado ’23, Gavin Gerig ’24, and Braden Vajen ’24.  Logan Richer ’21 and Benicio Vielma ’21 were also selected as Honorable Mention players.  Coach Casey Elson ’07 was named the NWOAL

Vernot leads the Boys Cross Country team to the NWOAL Championship

The boys cross country team outdistanced the field to claim the NWOAL Championship last Saturday at Delta HS.  The team’s 27 points surpassed 2nd place Archbold with 62 points.  Liberty Center (77) and Bryan (82) rounded out the top 4 teams.  The team’s 27 points is the lowest score at the NWOAL meet since 2014

Boys Soccer claims the NWOAL Championship

Andy Scherer ’22 finished as the 2nd best individual on a non-qualifying team at the D-II District tournament at Findlay Country Club and has qualified for the state tournament.  Andy shot an 82, one shot behind the other individual qualifier (Ryan Chapman from Ontario).  The team shot 363 to finish 5th.  Wauseon scores were Dylan Grahn ’21 (96),

Girls Golf team is heading to State

The girls golf team finished 4th at the D-II District tournament at Sycamore Springs in Findlay and has qualified for the state tournament.  The team shot 385 to qualify.  Lima Central Catholic was the District champion shooting 324 while Bellevue (369) and Van Buren (375) finished 2nd and 3rd.  The Indians were led by Lexe

Wauseon Athletics Online Streaming Partnership
